Scott Anderson is Associate Professor of Trombone at the University of Nebraska. He is the head of the Brass and Percussion Area and trombonist in the University of Nebraska Brass Quintet. He also performs regularly as lead trombone in the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra. Dr. Anderson has taught at St. Cloud State University, the University of Minnesota, the MacPhail School of Music, and Dana College. He earned degrees from the University of Minnesota (DMA 1995), Northwestern University (MM 1987) and Iowa State University (BM 1985). Dr. Anderson is an active recitalist having performed at Iowa State University, Concordia University, Luther College (Iowa), Trinity College (Texas), The University of Memphis, St. Cloud State University (Minnesota) and the University of Nebraska. He has also appeared as a soloist with the Dallas Brass, the Strategic Air Command Band, the ACC Heartland of America Band, the Twin Ports Wind Orchestra, the University of Nebraska Wind Ensemble, the University of Nebraska Symphonic Band, the Omaha Wind Symphony, the University of Minnesota Symphony Orchestra, the Iowa State University Symphony Orchestra, the Lincoln Municipal Band, the New Music Agency and the Iowa State University Wind Ensemble. He is an active orchestral performer on trombone, tenor tuba and bass trumpet having performed nationally and internationally as Principal and Second Trombone with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Omaha Symphony and the Des Moines Symphony and as second trombone in the Kansas City Symphony, Kansas City Ballet and Opera Omaha. He has performed under the direction of a number of conductors including Osmo Vanska, Christopher Hogwood, John Williams, Eiji Oue, Robert Shaw, Neeme Järvi, Christoph Eschenbach, David Zinman, Michael Stern, Hans Vonk, Christopher Wilkins, and Edo de Waart. As lead or principal trombonist, Dr. Anderson has performed on numerous national touring productions including Chicago, The Producers, Ragtime, 42 nd Street, A Chorus Line, Hello Dolly and Victor/Victoria. He has also played in concerts backing Lou Rawls, The Lettermen, Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme, The Moody Blues, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Pam Tillis, Mannheim Steamroller, Marvin Hamlisch and Mark O'Connor to name a few.

Jason is primarily a bass trombonist, but also performs on tenor trombone, euphonium and tuba. He has played with the Lincoln Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Nebraska Jazz Orchestra and Lincoln Municipal Band. Additionally, Jason teaches guitar and performs as a singer/songwriter.

Paul graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2010 with bachelor's degrees in Music Education and Trombone Performance. In 2014, he earned a Masters Degree in Trombone Performance from Northwestern University where he studied and performed alongside current and former members of the Chicago Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and others. While at Northwestern, he frequently performed with the Northwestern University Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, and University Chorale, and as a freelance performer through the greater Chicago area. He studied trombone under Michael Mulcahy, and conducting under Mallory Thompson and Donald Nally. He continues to play classical and jazz trombone and bass trombone throughout the midwest, including performances with the Omaha Symphony, Sioux City Symphony, and others.

Nancy teaches and performs primarily in the Classical Music domain, but she has years of experience in various areas of music. The ensembles she plays with include Lincoln Municipal Band, Nebraska Trombone Ensemble, and Lincoln Symphony Orchestra (substitute). Previously Nancy played trombone and euphonium in the U.S. Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. She also taught trombone at the University of Northern Iowa. In the summers she is an administrator at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan.
